The final week of term saw The Friary choir visit local care homes to sing Christmas carols to residents.
The local care homes included Rosemary Lodge and Hawthorn House – who offer both residential and nursing care – and gave our students a real insight into a stage in life that is far removed from their daily reality.
The students loved to meet the residents and were delighted that they had the opportunity to get involved.
Alison Chapman, our Choir Lead, said: “We place a big emphasis on being an integral part of the Lichfield community and we were pleased to showcase the talents of our singers. We have had lovely feedback and look forward to re-visiting next year.”
