The Year 8 Football team reached the final of the West Midlands Minute Maid Cup - just like the girls - by beating Nunnery Wood School 2-1 in Worcestershire.

Both goals were scored by George Lawson and Will Newbould was named player of the match.

They now play Kingsmead Technology School from Hednesford in the final, who also beat opposition from Worcester.

The Year 8 Rugby team reached the semi final of the Staffordshire U13 Knock Out Cup by beating Queen Marys Grammar School Walsall, 39-24 at The Friary.

So far St Josephs College Stoke and King Edwards School Lichfield have also reached the semi final stage. We eagerly await the draw.
