Wednesday 18th June saw the U13 Boys and the U13 Girls teams play in the 7 a-side EON National FA Cup Schools Festival held at Rowley Park, Stafford.

The U13 girls played five games in total and won them all convincingly. They beat Haywood Engineering College 5-0, Moorside High School 5-0, Cheadle High School 2-0, Rawlett Community Sports College 3-0 and Blurton High School 1-0.

Katie Wilkinson was our top scorer with eight goals to her credit, followed closely by Alex Liddiard with five goals to her credit.

The U13 boys played six games, managing to win two and draw the remaining four games. They beat Haywood Engineering College 1-0, Chasetown Sports College 3-0 and drew against Rawlett Community Sports College, Moorside High School, Cheadle High School and Blurton High School.  

Dan Craythorne scored 2 goals, Tom Hassall and Ben Wilkinson both scored one goal.

As this was a festival it was decided that there would be no overall winners of the tournaments, but all the players received medals for their participation in this event.
