Once again we are very pleased with our A-level results which bear out the strengths of the Friary Sixth form. With greater demand for university places this year students have been under increased pressure to achieve their target grades. They and their teachers deserve great credit and have been justly rewarded for their dedication and determination.
Almost half of all the grades achieved by students at the Friary were at grades A* to B. Out of our 90 students, 9 achieved at least 3 grades A*-A. Special mention should be made of two students, Jenny Derry and Hazel Hammond, who achieved four such grades.
