Latest Health and Safety news concerning Physical Education, Games and Sport.

Parents and pupils are reminded that correct kit must be worn for lessons. Recent Health and Safety clarifications insist that for Hockey shin pads and gum shields must be worn, in Rugby gum shields must be worn and in Soccer shin pads must be worn in any competitive situation. The Physical Education Department has good gum shields on sale for £2. If for any reason your son/daughter cannot physically wear a gum shield a disclaimer is needed written by a parent or Doctor.

In the summer in the sport of Cricket; pads, gloves, abdominal protector and a helmet will be provided by the school whenever a hard ball is used in a competitive situation.

Well done to the Under 13 girls Soccer team who beat Thomas Telford School 5-1 to reach the final of the West Midlands Minute Maid Cup. News of final opponents as soon as we find out.
