The Squad.
Phllip Round, Harry Carpenter, Pete Newton, Matthew Clarke, Toby Lomas,Sean Pates, Simon Moseley, Robbie Gleeson, Ed Lambert and Jack Lomas.
Netherstowe.
Friary won 3 – 0. Goal scorers Pete Newton 2 and Phil Round.
King Edwards.
Friary lost 1- 0 only after Robbie was injured and had to leave the pitch, taking no further part in the tournament.
Chase Terrace.
Friary won 6 – 0. Goal scorers Phil Round 2, Pete Newton 2, Toby Lomas and Jack Lomas.
Chase Town.
Friary won 1 – 0. Goal scorer Pete Newton, literally in the last seconds of the match!
The boys played some very good hockey and were a credit to the Friary, finishing 2nd overall to the winners King Edwards. Every game was played in good spirits and fair play.
This is the first time this tournament has been held and hopefully it will become an annual event, with a number of the team still eligible to play next year.
