On Wednesday 5^th December 2007 the Y7 netball team played an away match against Rawlett School.

The team was Nicole Harley (captain), Eleanor Duingan, Lucy Parker, Molly Wright, Tammie O’Sullivan, Katie Burke, Hannah Harding, Demi Sanders and Ella Street.

We got off to a great start with our shooters, Eleanor (GA) and Nicole (GS). It was our centre pass first. We got the ball down to our goal shooter and scored a great goal by Nicole.

Our defenders made sure Rawlett didn’t score and we went on to score five more goals by Nicole.

After a good team chat we got off to another great quarter thanks to Lucy and Eleanor taking the score line to 10-0.

The third quarter went well, our defenders got the ball down to our shooters Lucy and Nicole, Lucy produced a cracking goal and then Nicole scored. Unfortunately Rawlett scored two goals, but we kept our heads up high. At the end of that quarter the score was 12-2 to The Friary.

The final quarter went really fast with Rawlett trying their hardest. Our defenders made sure that Rawlett didn’t try to score any more and we managed to score another fab goal by Nicole.

The final score was 13-2 to The Friary and Molly Wright was named player of the match.
