We value the views and opinions of our parents and have a statutory responsibility to collect parental feedback.
This feedback is invaluable to the school as it gives us a chance to reflect on our practice and to determine ways where we can better deliver an outstanding education to every child.
Equally, OFSTED are keen to receive parental feedback and we would urge you to visit their website and to complete the questionnaire on our school. The Parent View element of the OFSTED website can be found here.
Certainly, this feedback – especially when positive – reflects well on the school as the inspectors use it when making judgements about us. Equally, it is a source of motivation and pride when our students and the local community can see that their local school is receiving praise for the work that goes on there.
Elsewhere, we periodically undertake surveys at school – at parents’ evenings and other events – and we use that feedback to guide us on how we can do better. They are always very positive but there always some insights which give us food for thought.
